SPRINGFIELD — Families across Illinois are encouraged to step away from their screens and enjoy local parks and recreation programs during the eighth annual Unplug Illinois Day on Saturday, July 11. The event features activities across the state, including free admission to pools and aquatic centers, yoga in the park, and other outdoor programs hosted by local park and recreation agencies.
