Union Pacific To Close Two DeKalb Railroad Crossings For Repairs

DEKALB – Union Pacific Railroad will temporarily close two railroad crossings on the south side of DeKalb for repairs beginning Sept. 29. The crossings at Fairview Drive and Seventh Street and Manning Drive are scheduled to close at 4 a.m. Tuesday and reopen at 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3. Traffic at Fairview Drive will be detoured to Gurler Road. The railroad has also coordinated with the business affected by the Manning Drive closure.
