GENOA – A two-vehicle crash at the intersection of State Route 72 and State Route 23 on Sunday sent two passengers to Northwestern Medicine Kishwaukee Hospital with minor injuries. Deputies from the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office reported that a westbound vehicle driven by a 20-year-old Pingree Grove man allegedly failed to yield at a stop sign at Route 23 and collided with a northbound SUV driven by a 35-year-old Huntley woman. Both drivers and passengers were wearing seatbelts. The Pingree Grove driver was cited for disobeying a stop sign.
