(Pittsburgh, PA) — One of the most anticipated events of the NFL offseason is finally here. Round one of the draft kicks off from Pittsburgh on Thursday. The Raiders hold the top selection and are expected to take Indiana quarterback and Heisman winner Fernando Mendoza first-overall. The QB-desperate Jets hold the next pick and are likely to nab a top defensive player as most experts consider this a “one quarterback” draft. The Cardinals, Titans and Giants round out the top-five selections in Round One. The next two rounds take place on Friday while four-through-seven cap-off the three-day event on Saturday.
The Chicago Bears have 7 picks right now in the 2026 NFL Draft which includes the 25th overall selection.
