Sixteen U.S. Cities Included In Happiest Cities List

CHICAGO –  More than a dozen U.S. cities are included in a list ranking the world’s happiest cities. Sixteen cities including San Francisco, Denver, Atlanta, Chicago and Dallas made the list, but that is down from 18 in 2025. Researchers with the London-based Institute for Quality of Life released their list of the 251 happiest cities in the world a day after the World Happiness Report was published. Factors such as inclusive policies, housing affordability, government transparency, environmental impacts, and more were considered when researchers compiled the list.
