(Toronto, ON) — The Los Angeles Dodgers are World Series champions once again.
The Dodgers rallied for a 5-4 win over the Blue Jays in Game Seven from Toronto. Will Smith went deep with a go-ahead solo homer in the top of the 11th. Yoshinobu Yamamoto was credited with the victory and was named World Series MVP.
The Dodgers are the first team in 25 years to win back to back championships. It’s also their third title since 2020 and ninth in franchise history.
