ROCHELLE – Steward Road at the city railroad crossing about 500 feet north of the Lee County line is closed starting today for railroad crossing repairs and asphalt pavement restoration. The closure will remain in place through November 21. Drivers are asked to follow the posted detour using Perry Road to Illinois Route 251 to Steward Road and to use caution near the work zone.
