SPRINGFIELD —  The Illinois State Senate is sending the Clean and Reliable Grid Affordability Act to Governor Pritzker’s office.  The measure is designed to protect consumers from energy price spikes.  It also aims to modernize the state’s energy infrastructure to improve reliability and accommodate growing energy demands.  Proponents say the bill would eventually lower electric bills for Illinois consumers.  Pritzker says he looks forward to signing the measure.
