Rochelle Declares November Focus House Month

ROCHELLE — The City of Rochelle is recognizing the 50th anniversary of Focus House, which was established in 1975 to provide residential care, education, counseling, and community support for at-risk youth in Ogle County. Over the past five decades, Focus House has served thousands of young people and families, with support from staff, volunteers, the Foundation for Focus House, and local partners including the Ogle County Board. Rochelle Mayor John Bearrows and the City Council will declare November 2025 as Focus House Month tonight, encouraging residents to recognize the services offered to youth across the city and county.
