Registration Opens for 2026 Huskie Stadium Polar Plunge

DEKALB  — Registration is open for the 2026 Huskie Stadium Polar Plunge to benefit Special Olympics Illinois, scheduled for Saturday, February 21st at Northern Illinois University. Participants must raise at least $100 to take part and will receive an official hoodie, with fundraising incentives and resources available at plungeillinois.com. The event includes the College Cup, a statewide competition for colleges and universities to raise funds and awareness, and proceeds support Special Olympics Illinois athletes. Registration begins at 10 a.m. and the plunge starts at noon.
