FORRESTON — A 35-year-old Polo man was arrested Monday morning following a single-vehicle crash near N Freeport Road and W White Oak Road in rural Forreston. Deputies with the Ogle County Sheriff’s Office said the SUV left the roadway, struck a power pole, and came to rest in a ditch. The driver was taken into custody on a Stephenson County warrant for failure to appear and was issued citations for driving unlicensed, operating an uninsured vehicle, and failure to reduce speed. The Forreston Fire Department and Forreston Police assisted at the scene.
