POLO — The Polo Lions Club is selling tickets for its holiday meat raffle through Dec. 5, with five winners to be drawn that day. Prizes include two quarter beef packages with freezers, two half hogs and a $150 gift certificate to Polo Fresh Food Mart. Tickets cost $10 each or three for $20 and are available at First State Bank Shannon’s Polo location. Proceeds will support community projects, including Sauk Valley Community College’s Impact Program, Westside Park dugout construction and the Kidz Summer Café.
