Polo Council Approves New Bulk Water Rates

POLO — The Polo City Council on October 20th approved Ordinance 25-14, amending the city code for bulk water service. Effective November 1, the ordinance sets a $100 daily hookup fee and a usage charge of $10 per 100 cubic feet of water. On October 13 the city also moved forward with applying for a $568,685 Safe Routes to School grant. The project would fund 58 ADA ramps, 630 feet of new sidewalk, and solar crosswalk signs along Mason and Campbell streets.
