ROCHELLE – The Flagg-Rochelle Community Park District Board reviewed options for the 2026 tax levy during Monday night’s meeting, noting a 10.5% increase in estimated property values in the district to $413 million. Options range from a flat levy to capture both new growth and inflation adjustments, potentially generating roughly $36,400 in additional revenue. Board members discussed the impact on tax rates, future funding for maintenance and capital projects, and how each option would support the district’s long-term financial stability. A final decision on the levy is expected at the November meeting.
