Oregon to Offer Fall Leaf Collection Service

OREGON — The City of Oregon will provide leaf pick-up service this fall from November 3 through 17 and December 1 through 15, running daily from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. weather permitting. Residents are asked to rake leaves to the curb, avoid placing them behind obstacles, keep leaves separate from trash or other yard debris, and ensure leaves come from within city limits. Pickup routes will be organized into four quadrants divided by Route 64 and Route 2. The city will rent leaf vacuum equipment this year while awaiting delivery of new units to maintain uninterrupted service.
