Oregon Driver Arrested After Rollover Crash on Big Mound Road

STILLMAN VALLEY — A 44-year-old Oregon driver was arrested Saturday evening after a single-vehicle rollover on the 10000 block of East Big Mound Road. Deputies said the vehicle was traveling westbound when it lost control for unknown reasons, left the north side of the road, and overturned at least once. The driver, who suffered non-life threatening injuries, was located by authorities at St. Anthony’s Hospital. They were charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and cited for operating an uninsured vehicle, leaving the scene of an accident, improper lane usage, and failure to reduce speed to avoid a crash. The driver was released on a notice to appear with a future court date.
