Oregon Blood Drive Today at Church of God

OREGON — Donors can give blood today at Oregon Church of God, 860 W. Oregon Trail Rd., from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. The Rock River Valley Blood Center supplies blood for 14 area hospitals and collects more than 800 units each week from nine counties in Illinois and Wisconsin. Donors are encouraged to reserve a donation time at RRVBC.org, though walk-ins are welcome. Maggie Anderson, Marketing and Recruitment Specialist with the Rock River Valley Blood Center, said “Time spent donating blood is time spent saving lives. Even a small commitment can have a huge impact on patients recovering from surgery or trauma.”
