OREGON — The Oregon City Council met Tuesday night and approved two intergovernmental agreements with the Oregon Park District and Oregon Community School District 220 to set long-term responsibilities for maintaining the Safe Routes to School pedestrian path and bridge project, including repairs, upkeep, and insurance, with either party able to end the agreement with 60 days’ notice. The council also tabled a rezoning request for 708 Washington Street until the January 13th meeting, and postponed review of the city employee policy handbook, including potential sick time sharing policies, to the next meeting.
