MT MORRIS — A 38-year-old Mt. Morris man is facing felony charges for a sex crime involving a teen. Ogle County sheriff’s detectives on January 5th began aninvestigation into an incident at the Mt Morris Estates Trailer Park involving a 15-year-old victim. After a search warrent was issued, James Cicchetti Jr. of Mt Morris was arrested for criminal sexual assault, a Class 1 felony. He was taken to the Ogle County Jail and is being held pending a detention hearing. The Ogle County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Shining Star Children’s Advocacy Center.
