MAPLE PARK – The annual Maple Park Fun Fest will take place August 30–31, offering free events and activities for families, including a 5K race, softball, craft and car shows, a Bags Tournament, kids’ bike and wagon parade, live music, petting zoo, climbing wall, pedal tractors, balloon twisting, reptile exhibits, toilet bowl races, and a parade. Food and beer gardens will open each day, with additional entertainment on the sound stage, including local bands, performers, and a fireworks show Sunday evening.

Founded in 1998 as a local softball tournament, the festival has grown into a full weekend of family-friendly fun, attracting 1,500–2,000 visitors annually, and is run entirely by volunteers who use funds to support the event and village projects.
