ROCHELLE — The Flagg Township Museum will host a Cinco de Mayo event May 10th from 1 to 4 p.m. featuring history displays and family activities focused on local Hispanic heritage.
Director Jan Devore said, “We’re going to have our Hispanic heritage history trunk on display. It was developed from an exhibit done in 2012. It features a lot of information about Hispanic connections in Rochelle, including religion, business and families. It was developed from an exhibit that was done several years ago.”
Devore said the event will also include craft activities and resources for families and teachers.
