(Chicago, IL) — Shota Imanaga is staying in Chicago after all. The Cubs ace accepted a 22-million dollar qualifying offer from Chicago.
The Northsiders originally decline a three-year club option on Imanaga, who later declined his 15.25-million dollar player option. The 32-year-old went 9-and-8 with a 3.73 ERA in 25 starts last season.
