In snow and windy conditions in Champaign on Saturday night, Illinois won their final regular season game over Northwestern 20-13 at Memorial Stadium.
Ca’Lil Valentine led the offense for the Illini with 74 yards and a touchdown. Illinois finished the regular season at (8-4) and will play in a bowl game.
Northwestern was led by quarterback Preston Stone who threw for 163 yards and a touchdown.
The Wildcats finished the regular season at (6-6) and are bowl eligible.
