Behind a career high 46 points from freshman Keaton Wagler, #11 Illinois upset #4 Purdue 88-82 on Saturday at West LaFayette.
Wagler hit 9 3-pointers in the game and was 13-17 from the field.
Illinois is now (17-3) for the season and (8-1) in the Big 10.
Braden Smith led Purdue with 27 points and 12 assists.
The Illini will host Washington on Thursday in Champaign.
