Illinois Main Street Conference Brings Statewide Leaders to Dixon

DIXON – Nearly 200 visitors are in Dixon through Friday for the Illinois Main Street Conference, hosted by Discover Dixon. The three-day event features educational sessions, downtown tours, and networking focused on strengthening downtown areas as centers of business and community life. Attendees include leaders and advocates from across the state learning from experts on redevelopment, small business support, and community engagement. The conference runs November 12–14 and is presented by Illinois Main Street in partnership with Lieutenant Governor Juliana Stratton, the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity, the Driehaus Foundation, and the Dixon Chamber of Commerce and Main Street.
