Illinois Department on Aging Seeks Nominations for Senior Hall of Fame

SPRINGFIELD –  The Illinois Department on Aging is now accepting nominations for the 2026 induction class of the Senior Illinoisans Hall of Fame.  Nominations are open to adults age 65 and older who excel in the arts, sports, and entertainment, community service, education, or the labor force.  Nominations must be submitted on or before June 2nd.  The Senior Illinoisan Hall of Fame was established by the General Assembly in 1994 to honor older adults’ accomplishments and contributions to their communities.
