Illinois picked up their 14th win of the season Wednesday night as they beat Northwestern on the road 79-68.
The Illini are now (5-1) in the Big 10.
Illinois was led by freshman guard Keaton Wagler who scored 20 of his 22 points in the second half.
Tomislav Ivisic also had 21 points as the Illini won at Northwestern for the first time since January 29th, 2022.
Jayden Reid led Northwestern with a career high 28 points. The Wildcats are (8-9) for the season and (0-6) in the Big 10.
Illinois plays at home on Saturday against Minnesota.
