Illinois Agencies Launch Student Contests to Raise Radon Awareness

SPRINGFIELD – The Illinois Emergency Management Agency and Office of Homeland Security is partnering with the American Lung Association to launch two statewide poster and video contests for students during Radon Action Month. In an effort to encourage radon testing, high school students can submit a 30-second, commercial-style video. Middle school students can enter a poster. Contest submissions are being accepted through March 15.
