ROCHELLE – Gas prices fell across Illinois and the nation as the holiday season wraps up, with drivers in Ogle County paying $2.81, Lee County $2.83, and DeKalb County $2.93 per gallon. The national average dropped to $2.83, down more than four cents from last week, marking the lowest December prices since 2020. Crude oil costs remain low, supplies are strong, and overall 2025 has seen stable fuel prices with few fluctuations.
