HILLCREST — Village Engineer Kaitlin Wright said the 2025 chip seal program cost $41,529, coming in under budget, as trustees began reviewing plans for next year’s road improvements. The proposed 2026 work includes projects in the Windover subdivision, Oak Avenue, Maple Avenue, Errett Road, and Bethel Road. Trustees also discussed possible repairs to dips along Hillcrest Avenue and alternative pavement treatments such as binder or slurry seal to extend roadway life.
