FORRESTON — A 55-year-old Forreston woman was injured Friday afternoon after losing control of her vehicle during a medical emergency near Illinois Route 26 and Prairie Dell Road. Ogle County sheriff’s deputies said the vehicle entered the east ditch, traveled through a cornfield and came to rest on Prairie Dell Road. The woman was taken to Mercy Hospital in Freeport for treatment. Forreston Fire and EMS and Forreston police assisted at the scene.
