FORRESTON — Ogle County deputies and the Forreston Fire Department responded Tuesday to a two-vehicle crash at Baileyville Road and Coffman Road in rural Forreston. A pickup driven by a 66-year-old man from Lemont struck a southbound vehicle driven by a 71-year-old Forreston man after allegedly failing to yield at the stop sign. The Forreston man was taken to Freeport Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The Lemont driver was not hurt and received a citation for failure to yield. Deputies were assisted at the scene by the Forreston Fire Department and the Forreston Police Department.
