ROCHELLE — Community Action Network will host its annual Food Truck Festival on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. behind the Rochelle museum to raise funds for its December 11 Christmas shopping trip. The event will feature food from Ralfie’s BBQ, Cousins Maine Lobster, and Roiel Scoop, with picnic tables available for dining. Michelle Pease, Board Member, Community Action Network, said that they have had to make some adjustments because of the economy.
“We increased our Christmas shopping gift cards from $85 to $100 this year, so the kids can get a little bit more,” Pease said. “We’ll do our annual shopping trip in December and just appreciate all the support that we get from the community and the local businesses. We’re pretty blessed to have this type of community that gives so much and cares about our kids.”
