Environmental Services and Housekeeping Week Runs Sept. 13 to 19

CHICAGO — Environmental Services and Housekeeping Week is observed Sept. 13 through Sept. 19 to recognize environmental services teams for their role in infection control, patient safety and customer satisfaction in health care settings. The observance is organized by the Association for the Healthcare Environment. The week also highlights the daily work of staff who help maintain clean and safe environments for patients, visitors and health care workers.
