CHICAGO — National Boss’s Day is observed Oct. 16 to encourage employees to recognize and appreciate the contributions of their supervisors. The day is organized to strengthen relationships between employees and employers. Workers often present small gifts, cards, or notes of appreciation to show gratitude for strong leadership.
