ROCHELLE – The annual Vein Drain blood drive will be held Tuesday from noon to 6 p.m. Two bloodmobiles will be at the event to collect whole blood and double red donations. The drive has collection goals of 45 whole blood donations.
“We are looking forward to bringing the Vein Drain back this year and getting the community involved,” said Maggie Anderson, Marketing and Recruitment Specialist with the Rock River Valley Blood Center. “Every donor helps us get closer to our collection goals and helps keep blood available for area hospitals.”
The Rock River Valley Blood Center collected 48 donations during last year’s Vein Drain.
