Emergency Exercise Planned Next Week At Byron Nuclear Generating Station

SPRINGFIELD — The Illinois Emergency Management Agency and Office of Homeland Security will conduct an emergency response exercise at the Byron Nuclear Generating Station on Tuesday involving state, Ogle County, Winnebago County, and Constellation personnel. The Federal Emergency Management Agency will evaluate local and state agencies during the drill and share preliminary findings at an open meeting on Friday, October 24, at 11 a.m. at the Ogle County Emergency Operation Center in Rochelle.
