SYCAMORE — Elder Care Services of DeKalb County will host its annual Comedy Night fundraiser on Oct. 17 at 7 p.m. at The Regale Center, 124 ½ S. California St., with doors opening at 6 p.m. Tickets cost $50 in advance or $60 at the door, with proceeds benefiting programs including Adult Protective Services, Care Coordination, Information and Assistance, and Money Management.
Supervisor Christi Coulter with Elder Care Services of DeKalb County says that they’ll be raising money for an important cause.
“All the money that’s raised at this event is going to go to support all of our services,” Coulter said, “which help seniors and vulnerable adults stay independent at home where they wanna be.”
The event will feature Chicago Comedy Works, with funds supporting services that help older and vulnerable adults remain safe and independent in the community.
