Dixon Launches $2 Million Street Improvement Program

DIXON — The City of Dixon has started its 2026 street improvement program, a $2 million project that includes resurfacing 51 blocks of roadway, rebuilding downtown crosswalks, replacing sidewalks, improving drainage and completing other maintenance work across the city. The work is funded through Motor Fuel Tax revenue and local infrastructure funds and is expected to continue throughout the 2026 construction season. City officials said the project will improve about 3.5 miles of streets.
