Des Plaines Woman Arrested After Pursuit in Rochelle

ROCHELLE — A 62-year-old Des Plaines woman was arrested early Saturday after allegedly leading Ogle County deputies on a slow-speed pursuit through Rochelle. Deputies attempted to stop a black Ford Escape near Illinois Route 38 and Dement Road around 12:25 a.m. when the driver, identified by the Ogle County Sheriff’s Office as Donna M. Di Nardo reportedly failed to stop. The chase ended on Intermodal Drive west of Jack Dame Road after multiple attempts to use stop sticks. Di Nardo was charged with aggravated assault with a motor vehicle, aggravated fleeing to elude, aggravated DUI, possession of cocaine, DUI drugs, and other offenses. She was also reportedly wanted on warrants from McHenry County and Waushara County, Wisconsin, and was taken to the Ogle County Jail where she is being held pending a pre-trial release hearing.
