DEKALB — The DeKalb City Council approved an application for $15.8 million in state funding for nine replacement buses, facility improvements and vehicle wash equipment. The council also approved $58,829 in federal grants for six nonprofits providing child care transportation, senior services, housing assistance, homeless shelter services, domestic violence support and meal assistance.
