DeKalb Reviews Community Development Plan Amendment

DEKALB — The City of DeKalb has released a proposed amendment to its Program Year 2024 Annual Action Plan for the Community Development Block Grant Program and is inviting public review and comment. The program year ran from April 1, 2024, through March 31, 2025, and the city is seeking input with a focus on serving residents of low and moderate income. A 30-day public comment period is open through November 10, 2025, with a public hearing scheduled during the November 10 City Council meeting. Copies of the proposed amendment are available at the DeKalb Public Library, the city’s Finance and Community Development departments, and online at www.cityofdekalb.com
