DeKalb Park District Seeks Public Help Naming New Hopkins Park Pool

DEKALB — The DeKalb Park District is asking residents to help choose the name of the new outdoor pool under construction at Hopkins Park, which is scheduled to open in summer 2026. Name submissions will be accepted online from Jan. 16 through Jan. 23 at 11:59 p.m., after which eight finalists will be selected for a public voting bracket. Quarterfinal voting will run Jan. 26 through Jan. 30, followed by semifinal voting from Feb. 2 through Feb. 6 and final voting from Feb. 9 through Feb. 13.
