SYCAMORE — The DeKalb County Community Foundation awarded $113,692 in Community Needs Grants to 22 local organizations for projects that support education, community development, and health services. Among the recipients were Community Coordinated Child Care, receiving $3,000 to provide essential childcare items to families; the Malta Fire Protection District, receiving $7,000 for roof and station repairs; and Tails Humane Society, receiving $3,277 to replace surgical instruments.
