DeKalb Approves Water Treatment Chemical Contracts

DEKALB — The DeKalb City Council approved several water treatment contracts for 2026 and 2027, including separate agreements with Alexander Chemical Company for chlorine and fluoride, Carus for blended phosphate, and Midwest Salt for softener salt. The council said the purchases ensure continued compliance with state and federal water quality standards.
