OREGON – A 68-year-old Davenport Iowa man was injured Saturday afternoon in a single vehicle crash in the 3500 block of South Illinois Route 2, according to the Ogle County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies were called around 1 p m and found a passenger vehicle that had left the roadway for unknown reasons and struck several trees. The driver was extricated by Oregon and Byron fire crews and taken to Javon Bea Hospital in Rockford by Oregon EMS, where he was treated for non life threatening injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
