CRESTON — Trustees discussed several infrastructure projects Tuesday, including the water tower upgrades and the South Street Water Line project. Officials said the tower’s electrical work, estimated at $11,000, will reuse existing conduit, switch to LED lighting, and prepare for a future mixer installation once permits are approved. Work may extend into spring due to weather. The South Street Water Line project will go out for bid November 21, with hopes of securing a contractor to finish work before winter. Trustee Mark Hibshman also reviewed sidewalk conditions along Main, Depot, and South Streets, noting missing and uneven sections. The board may seek quotes for mudjacking to begin repairs next spring.
