Creston Board Discusses Sidewalk Funding, Library Donation

CRESTON — The Creston Village Board met last week, receiving thanks from the local library and noting a $500 donation to Wreaths Across America. Trustees spent time discussing the village sidewalk program, agreeing funding levels still need to be set. Trustee Mark Hibshman said using interest earnings from village savings could fund about 2,000 feet of new sidewalk, potentially on Main, South, and Depot streets, with bidding possible this spring.
