Candidacy Objection Made Against Rockford Native Running For Congress

ROCKFORD —  A Rockford native running against Representative Eric Sorensen in Illinois’ 17th Congressional District is no longer on the primary ballot.  Montez Soliz announced his name was removed from the ballot after receiving an objection to his candidacy petitions.  The Democrat remains an active candidate.  The State Officers’ Electoral Board meets next month to discuss the objection to Soliz’s campaign.
