Rookie Nick Lardis scored in the 4th round of the shootout for the win.
Tyler Bertuzzi led Chicago with 2 goals. Arvid Soderblom had 28 saves.
Mikko Rantanen had a goal and 2 assists for Dallas.
The Blackhawks are at the United Center Sunday night against Pittsburgh.
